Fear

Fear is a collaboration between year 10 students at Irlam and Cadishead Community High School, Cornerhouse and Psychicbread. The video was developed in response to an exhibition at Cornerhouse, Listen to Britain: Works by Victor Burgin. Fifteen young people, most of whom had never used video before, worked with film-maker Andy Lawrence on the concepts, content and visual style of the film. Working through the planning stages, acting on film, assisting with camera work and influencing the final edit, the project introduced the group to all aspects of film-making and is an expression of their own ideas on things that make us scream.
