The Hive Collective - Transformations

In February 2001 two film-makers and two artists travelled to India to work with young people in the village of Moron in Punjab, on the subject of ecology. We created a series of films, photographs and drawings looking at the way we transfrom elements for our own use. Trees provide air, plants can be transformed into food or fire, or mixed with water to create paper.

The film is a young girl's meditation on the air we breath. A collaboration between Mandeep Samra and Andy Lawrence.
